Honda HSV-010

This is the Honda HSV-010, which is the next generation Honda's super car and the successor of NSX. It's powered by a low displacement 3.4 litre V8 with a maximum output of over 500hp. This powerful engine sounds like Formula 1 cars. The HSV-010 is designed for super GT series in Japan, especially to compete its competitor Nissan GTR.

On October 23, 2009, Honda officially announced the end of the mid-engine NSX Super GT's participation in Super GT racing due to new Super GT regulations that allowed the use of only front engine, rear drive cars. On November 15, 2009, Honda announced that, despite withdrawing the NSX from Super GT competition, it would campaign a car for the 2010 season. Honda revealed that the car it would be based on the cancelled 'New NSX' production vehicle. It is reported that although the Super GT normally requires racing vehicles to be based on production cars, the use of a production-ready car is also allowed.
Then, on December 22, 2009, Honda announced the HSV-010 GT as the successor to the NSX Super GT in the Super GT series. Unlike typical Super GT cars, the vehicle is not based on any production vehicle that is made available to purchase by the general public.

Maybach Exelero

History of Maybach

The Maybach marque has a remarkably distinguished heritage.
The company was originally founded in 1909 by Wilhelm Maybach with his son Karl Maybach acting as director and was known as "Luftfahrzeug-Motorenbau GmbH" based in Bissingen on the Enz. In 1912 the company moved to Friedrichshafen and changed its name to Maybach Motorenbau GmbH Friedrichshafen. Today, the marque Maybach Manufaktur is owned by Daimler AG and is based in Stuttgart.
More than 100 years ago, Wilhelm Maybach built a car that pointed the way towards the modern era. His Opus No.1 went down in history as the first Mercedes, and he is still remembered as the “king of the design engineers”. His son, Karl Maybach, followed his father’s directions, creating further masterpieces between the 1920’s through to the 1940’s.
Having  set many standards in terms of size, technology and performance by the end of the twenties, Maybach followed this up in the thirties with a surprise move: the introduction of a small model, known by the abbreviation SW, which stood for swing axle.
These cars were notable for their six-cylinder in-line engines with 3.5, 3.8 or 4.2-litre displacement and were all lovingly handcrafted.
Unique vehicles built in accordance with the wishes of their owner.
“To create only the best from the best, a vehicle that is the ultimate in wish fulfilment, with a distinctive character of the finest elegance and power” – this is how a Maybach flyer from 1930 announced the company’s aim, and it still applies at Maybach in its entirety to this day.

Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale

--The latest edition of the Maserati coupe is the best yet
As its name implies, the Maserati GranTurismo was always intended to be more of a grand tourer than a sportscar. But this hasn't stopped the Italian maker from stretching the big coupe's capabilities.

When it was released in 2008, the GranTurismo came with a 4.2-litre V8, an engine it shares with the Quattroporte sedan on which the coupe is based.
But within 18 months of its debut, Maserati answered the call for more power, creating the GranTurismo S powered by a 4.7-litre V8.
For some, however, even this was not enough. And so now we have the GranTurismo MC Stradale – a lighter, more powerful version of the company's most popular coupe, and the fastest Maserati road car of all time.

Shedding 110kg and adding more grunt is always a good combination when chasing performance and the MC Stradale is no exception – especially when some of its parts have had a helping hand from its parent company Ferrari.
Just 15 cars are planned for Australia and New Zealand at this stage – and most are already spoken for, the company says.
